Tulsa Massacre Case Dismissed, NIH Boosts Rural Care, Fearless Fund Faces Suspension
Greetings!
I hope you’ve had a joyous June and a pristine Pride month! We are back for the second installment of the Melody of Change newsletter. If you missed out on the May edition, you can find it here.
An (Overdue) Introduction…
I wanted to properly introduce myself to those whom I have not met yet.
As I’ve said before, my name is Sam Ejiofor. I graduated from the University of Georgia in May 2023 (B.S.ed. Exercise and Sport Science) and I am an incoming MBA/MHA student at Georgia State University. Currently, I serve as the Marketing and Networking Intern for The Clinic Doctor & the DEI Disruptors.
My professional interests lie in health equity, organizational DEI, healthcare provision, innovative healthtech, and sports administration. My current objective is to continue carving out a unique occupational path that accentuates my gifts.
Personally, I have a myriad of interests that include (but are not limited to) sports, photography, cooking, music, traveling, and international reality television.
For one, I am grateful for the opportunity Dr. Scott has afforded me to work on such a unique venture. Secondly, I am excited to continue connecting, meeting, and working with some of the most impactful professionals in this field. Lastly, my greatest wish is that my attitude, diligence, and works reflect well on my own character and abilities.

Maria's journey from being the first in her family to graduate from high school and college to becoming the founder and CEO of Inspirame and the Vice President, Global Head of Community Diversity and Inclusion at Equinix is nothing short of inspiring.
